I cannot tell you how pleased i was with my box!! i was kinda worried it wouldn’t arrive for whatever reason as my tracking wasn’t working to begin with and knowing my luck it was bound to happen! but i am pleased to say last friday it did!! woohoo. I LOVED EVERYTHING in my box! even the perfume sample! so here is the box and what i got…
The packaging is so beautiful this month! i especially love the hand drawn illustrations on the tissue paper – stylish london to a T!
This is the new style leaflet that tells you all about what you’ve got! i find this so much better, simple, to the point, stylishly done and less faffing compared to having a fold out leaflet.
So this is what i got in my box!! eylure pre -glued lashes which im super excited to use as i’ve never ever got the hang of the ones you have to put glue on to but they look so pretty so i’m hoping these work for me however i’m saving them for a friends 21st end of october so ill let you know then what i think!
Next right we have the perfume sample, i was abit dubious as i thought elizabeth arden perfumes were for fuddy duddys sorry! but this smells divine!! and you actually get like a miniature version of the perfume bottle so its also really cute!
Next is a full size toni&guy shine gloss serum. So happy i got this as i love anything that gives my hair shine and toni&guy is a really good make!
Then we have the be a bombshell eyeliner which you cant really see from the pic but i’ve done a swatch for you below 🙂
And then another thing i was super happy about getting is the rimmel stay blushed liquid cheek tint as i had been eyeing it up in the shops for quite a while!
Left is the swatch of the rimmel stay blushed liquid cheek tint. It is such a nice colour and a little product goes A LONG WAY it is extremely pigmented and easily blend-able so it really is such a gorgeous blush to use! i’m very happy with it!
Right is the swatch for the liquid eyeliner. As you can see it has a felt tip like nib, is super super black and i did the wear test on a 9 hour shift at work and it did not budge AT ALL! so over all i am really impressed with this and the application is a doddle.
As i now had three glossyboxes i decided to make a set of drawers i keep seeing! so i hunted for videos on youtube and here is my creation! and for cardboard they are actually pretty good as drawers, even with heavy stuff! so if you havent done it yet i highly recommend its so easy! i just used scissors and glue 🙂
what did you think of your glossybox? or do you subcribe to a different one or are thinking of subscribing to one? tell me! 🙂
